Thank you guys for your comments, we don't want anyone to not be able to attend due to the boat trip time being extended. Janie and I will talk with the Andiamo and what we will push for is to keep the boat trip time the same, yet allow for us to stay on boat longer once docked back up at which point people can either head out or stay on the boat for a while longer. Afterall, the boat was originally not going to move at all. Look forward to seeing everyone tonight! AP

A few of had talked about meeting at the Cherry Bowl a little after 6pm. Our concern with Smalleys is the very limited space.
In addition I know there are a lot of people who were planning on meeting up with people after the boat docked, and they were scheduling around the original time. I think we need to be careful about keeping people on the water too long; some people have sitter obligations etc...just my 2 cents.

The beauty of Stillwater is they have a bar that fits just about any atmosphere you could be looking for!

Ah dude that stinks. It would be great if there were a "staging area of fun" where people could meet up before the boat. Anyone have plans to do so?

Registration will continue to stay open until Monday, August 2nd for $45 per person. If for some reason you cannot register before then, contact Janie Buelow. We have to give our final numbers to them on Monday so if you have friends that still want to register pass the word on that we're still open for business!

So, I have to work on the night of our reunion until about 9:00. That means I will be downtown hoping to run into people as they come off the boat :) Sorry to those of you who organized it - Friday nights are tough in IT land!

I really wanted to attend my 10 year reunion..but I am still debating what to do. A lot of my friends only want to hang out downtown and meet everyone after they get off the boat. I like the boat idea except for how frickin expensive it is. I have kids to feed....Geesh!!! I'll decide soon and see if I can get some others to sign up with me...I also wasn't expecting to be hugely pregnant at my 10 year reunion....no drinking for me!

Katie - Andrew is working with the Andiamo and they're willing to work with us. Your concerns are valid but no one will be taking a gamble on buying a ticket. The event will happen as planned.
Joe - There aren't many people on the FB SAHS2000 page but I'll send out another blast.

It looks as though many more people are on facebook than on this sweet beast. Has a new message been posted there to let people know about the minimum needs? Just a thought to any and all of you on facebook.

Mr. Polehna - Message received, thank you. I was just going to register but your most recent post has brought up a concern: In the event we don't hit our minimum registered attendees, will the people that paid for their registration(s) receive any sort of refund? I'll market the event to everyone I can but I'm not especially pleased with gambling $90... unless it's at the poker table, of course.

Is there a theme? Street clothes, casual friday, tuxedo, blazer with a political tee or should we just wear our favorite outfit from high school?

Ok, After many "reminding" texts, phone calls, email's, facebook INBOX and wall messages I have finally signed up. I'll be honest I have struggled with the idea of attending the reunion. Despite the IMMENSE wealth I've amassed since graduating, I'm compelled to say that it's pretty horrendous students would be expected to pay to attend they're own 10 year high school reunion... other than that, I'll probably eat it and be there. Hi All!
So excited for the event - today is the last day to get your discounted tickets!!! Just want to clear up any confusion on a couple things:
1.) When we asked the Andiamo for an open bar, their response: "You're still young and drink too much, we wouldn't make any money off of the event." At any rate, the price for drinks are dirt cheap!!! The more people that sign up - the more money we get and if there is left over, we will buy drink tickets with the remaining money…

Unfortunately I will not be able to make the boat, I will be coming in from Milwaukee, and have something I cannot miss until about 3-4:00. I will be coming home however, and hope to see you all out afterwards. I am very sorry to be missing the boat.

Brandy, Abby, and anyone else waiting to see who is going before committing to register for the reunion; Who is it that you are waiting for? This isn't a life or death decision, and won't break the bank, sign-up and then encourage the people you specifically want to see to get signed up. There are definitely leaders and followers...please choose to lead.

Everyone I've talked to sounds like they're 50/50 on going purely because all the commentary they're seeing on here (or facebook) is showing people are either unable to attend or are 50/50. It just sort of seems like most people are watching and waiting to see what everyone else is doing before they commit to registering. I freely admit... I'm in that group!

I went to this crazy reunion thing, and it was a lot of fun. I do think it was actually a ploy to steal my sweater though. I am pretty sure someone stole it...it had nothing to do with the fact that I had too much to drink and possibly just forgot it on the boat.
My best guess is that it was the other Joe Anderson. I think he took it, and traded it for the left over chicken wings.
In all seriousness though, I had a great time. Thanks for putting this shindig together.
